Opportunity youth are young people who are between the ages of 16 to 24 years old and are disconnected from school and work. Here, you can find a wide variety of educational and work opportunities for this group in the City of Memphis.

Services YPC’s quality-over-quantity core programming puts young professionals in conversational settings with top local business leaders, educates members on issues at the forefront of our city’s development, and creates connections among ambitious emerging leaders.
CORE PROGRAMMING Corner Office Series: the Corner Office series brings 20-30 YPC members to the C-suite of a Memphis business 4 times annually to meet successful local leaders.
YPC Luncheons: A biannual membership luncheons engage the entire membership with lunch, connections with peers, and a keynote or panel discussion addressing a prominent topic in the Memphis conversation.
YP Power Hour
YP Council members network with mid-career leaders to learn more about career navigation, leadership development and personal/professional development through a series of cocktail hour events throughout the year.Membership Mixers Every summer and holiday season, YPC invites all members, guests, and prospective members to join us at a great local venue for food, drinks, and connections with the young professional community.
YP Council Service Projects
Twice a year, YPC members work together for volunteer opportunities such as helping high school students with college prep and recent grads with resume writing.Extras & Opportunities
