In the lessons, they teach a few rules about how letters sound, show pictures of the words, and even have videos to help understand sentences. Starfall is a special learning website created by Dr. Stephen Schutz, who had a hard time learning to read when he was young because of dyslexia. Starfall started in 2002 as a free service for teaching kids to read, and it has grown to cover language arts and math for preschool to fifth grade. The program focuses on exploration, play, and positive encouragement to help kids feel confident and motivated to learn. Starfall is like a fun game that also helps kids with reading and math. This website is made for parents, teachers, and kids to easily listen to a collection of children's books. It's designed to be easy for everyone, even if they don't know how to read. The site only has children's books & kids can’t end up off the website. When a story is read, you usually see the book pages, not the person reading. The website has some simple animations, like zooming in on parts of the page. They often change the order of the books to encourage listening to new ones. It's a great place for kids to enjoy stories without any distractions.
