Program: STARS
A school-based ministry consisting of a team of dedicated connectors who work one-on-one with children and their families to provide diverse support and services to keep kids in school and ready to learn. Students served in Stars have an overall attendance rates of 90%. There is nearly a 10% growth gains in literacy and proficiency in math, science, and related subjects. There is a significant decrease in office referrals and behavioral issues with children served by Agape.

A center dedicated to help train and place hardworking teens in part-time jobs and graduates in productive career fields including: Culinary, Logistics, Automotive, Welding, and IT. All trainees participate in the Soft Skills courses which enhances skills such as: Interview techniques, Goal setting, Customer service and conflict resolution, Developing resumes and cover letters, Basics of computer skills such as Microsoft Office, Word, and PowerPoint, College preparation, ACT math tutoring, and Literacy tutoring.

Emmanuel Center supports kids and their families in South City by offering after-school and summer programs that inspire spiritual, physical, and educational growth. After-school activities include homework help, literacy tutoring, Social and Emotional Learning classes, and more. Through year-round engagement, Emmanuel Center helps kids build stronger social and emotional skills and prepare them for success inside and outside of the classroom.

BRIDGES provides students an opportunity to find their voice through unique experiential learning activities that are adventurous, relational and transformative. As a result, participants are empowered to reach across racial and socio-economic divides, are prepared for secondary educational opportunities and careers, and are engaged in civic affairs in their communities.

CONNECT For students in grades 6-12. Participate in one-time events and workshops through Bridge Builders CONNECT programming. This allows students to experience the Bridge Builders program by engaging in meaningful curricula through active, hands-on activities.
COLLABORATE For students in grades 7-12. Get ready to explore, bond and transform. Attend a week-long summer conference followed by monthly events throughout the school year. As a Bridge Builder, you will be empowered to apply what you have learned to improve your neighborhoods, schools and communities.
CHANGE For select students in grades 9-12. Led by you, for you, this social change initiative provides the training resources and support you need to lead a major community improvement effort in Memphis. Commit 6 to 9 hours each week throughout the year and watch real change unfold.
