Opportunities
Adult Literacy Tutoring
Partners with significant connections to ELL communities and adults seeking literacy support host info sessions and classes for adults. All materials, training, data tracking, and instruction are provided by the LiteracyCorps member.
Summer Support
Partners with low-to-no cost summer programming for elementary students are supported by at least one LMS-trained LiteracyCorps members for ~15 hours/week to provide literacy intervention & support summer programming generally.
Powered by Reading Partners Tutoring
Partners with low-to-no cost afterschool & summer programming for elementary students receive LiteracyCorps tutors to provide proven, one-on-one tutoring powered by our national partner—Reading Partners.
Requirements

Supervise.
LiteracyCorps partners will host at least one AmeriCorps member. Parnters will identify a sub-site supervisor who will provide day-to-day direction & supervision for the LiteracyCorps member.

Record.
LiteracyCorps partners will utilize an assessment tool to measure student progress and share disaggregated data with Literacy Mid-South. Sub-site supervisors will complete mandatory reporting like member timesheet approval.

Welcome.
LiteracyCorps partners will provided the necessary training, resources, and supports to ensure the LiteracyCorps member is a welcomed addition to the team & able to provide service.

Learn.
LiteracyCorps partners will participate in continous quality improvmenet alongside Literacy Mid-South. Sub-site supervisors will also undergo mandatory training from Literacy Mid-South and AmeriCorps.
