National Civil Rights Museum

Mission:

The National Civil Rights Museum, located at the Lorraine Motel, the assassination site of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., chronicles key episodes of the American civil rights movement  and the legacy of this movement to inspire participation in civil and human rights efforts globally, through our collections, exhibitions, and educational programs.

Hours:

Monday, Wednesday through Saturday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., closed Tuesday, Sunday 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. * Free Period on Mondays except holidays for TN residents (see below):  3 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Summer Hours:

Closed Tuesday
Monday, Wednesday through Saturday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Free Period (Mondays): 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.

The museum is OPEN for tours on Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day holidays. Administrative offices are closed.

Adult $10.00
Seniors and Students w/ID – $9.00

Children 4-17 years  – $8.00
3 and under – Free
Members – Free
