The mission and purpose of the Memphis Leadership Foundation is to proclaim the whole gospel to the whole city through the empowerment of leaders and the development of ministries and programs that focus on the needs of under-resourced people and communities.

Educational Programs:

MLF’s Multi-National Ministries (MNM) serves culturally diverse refugee/immigrant communities in Memphis, Tennessee through educational, recreational, social, and spiritual programs . Throughout the school year, MNM provides Monday night reading and after-school homework help/tutoring refugee/immigrant students grades PK – 12 attending various schools throughout the City of Memphis.

Hours:

Multi-National Ministries operates after school-day hours Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm to 7:00 pm dependent upon the age group. There is no fee or expected educational levels to attend this program.

MLF’s RedZone Ministries programs engage at-risk youth in positive structured after school activities aimed at increasing student’s academic achievement through the use of several interventions such as one-on-one instruction, in-class supplemental help, additional tutorials, after school instruction, character building workshops, recreation, and summer programs. Our programs serve children and adolescents PK through 18 years of age who live in some of Memphis’ most distressed communities and schools. At this time the programs serve children and youth who live in the Orange Mound Community and attend schools in that area. There is no cost for participation or a specified reading/educational level for the program.

Hours:

The RedZone Ministries program operates after school-day hours Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm to 7:00 pm dependent upon the age group. There are currently programs at both Hanley Elementary School and Melrose High School. In addition to academic enrichment, there is a faith-based afterschool program that targets high school-aged at-risk youth throughout week day and during summer months.

This is a faith based organization.
