Read Memphis Project

The Read Memphis Project builds the capacity of other organizations, churches, nonprofits and groups to create new or improve existing community-based literacy or adult basic education centers (6th grade reading and below) and English as a Second Language (ESL) centers throughout the Mid-South.

Read Memphis Project Provides:

  • A standards-based approach to guide organizations.
  • Best practices for implementing quality service.
  • Ongoing training & coaching to build capacity.
  • Resources for newly certified programs. 

Certified organizations will be eligible to receive up to $15,000 in seed money and/or resources. Some rules apply.
