When Sandibel entered the reading program at Streets Ministries, which is supported by Literacy Mid-South, she was reading at a very low level for her age. After spending a few months with her volunteer tutor, not only has her reading level grown, but she has developed a love for reading. She reads books about families and how to deal with bullies to her two baby brothers every night.
This summer, Literacy Mid-South is working with over 3,000 students to mitigate summer learning loss. Your support makes this work possible.
Because of you, children like Sandibel are able to improve not just their literacy skills but their self-esteem as well.
Please consider a gift that will have a deep and meaningful impact on the lives of children in Memphis.
